Santa Rosa Wedding | Beatriz and Manny
Last week we had the opportunity to go to the bay area to photograph Beatriz and Manny’s wedding. Beatriz was getting ready at one house while Manny would get ready with his guys at another. I had my second shooter go to Manny’s while I covered Beatriz getting ready with her girls. After getting all the details done, it was time for Beatriz to get into her dress. Her bridesmaids helped her out, before we headed out to the church where Manny would see Beatriz in her wedding dress for the first time. One photo I always like getting is when the groom sees his bride for the first time. Whether we do a first look prior to the ceremony, or if it’s when she walks down the aisle, I find that it’s a very special moment. They had a beautiful ceremony surrounded by all of their friends and family.
After the ceremony we headed over to a beautiful winery. We had the entire wedding party with us and it was quite an adventure on the way there…We had just enough time to do some photos with Beatriz and Manny there by themselves as well, before heading towards the reception hall.
One thing I particularly loved about this wedding is how close everyone was. From the groomsmen to the bridesmaids, to the family, it just felt like everyone was there for whatever Manny and Beatriz needed. They made sure to take any weight off that they could so the bride and groom could enjoy their day. And Beatriz and Manny could not have been more appreciative of everyone, including us. Not even for a single moment did we feel like we were photographing clients: from the minute we walked through the door, we felt like we were shooting a couple of friends. Beatriz and Manny are just sweet genuine people, and it makes anyone that was there feel that much more special that they invited you to be a part of their day. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Villagomez!
